Looking for a used Meade 45 degreee Erecting Prism
ooh.. so the image will be upright?? so is there any 90 degrees prism??? most probably i would like to get one after i bought a scope...VinSnr wrote:well, the angle of the diagonal is 45 degrees instead of the normal 90 degrees. And it gives a correct orientation image, instead of a left-right inverse image.IceAngel wrote:sorry to ask... wat do a 45 degree Erecting prism do??

Hi,
If you use your scope for Astronomical purpose only (remember in space there is no up or down, right or left), don't use a prism diagonal... you will get more light loss than a mirror diagonal, unless you have other terrestrial "targets".. he he... ;P
