Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!
My general rule for buying a dob if the money is not the constraint is...getting the largest aperture that I can "happily" move it and "frequently" use it. If you don't know which size is good for you, I suggest you go to a star party and see other people's scopes. IMHO.
The point blank answer to your question is definately the 10". In astronomy, aperture always wins.
If not for various considerations (be it $, storage, portability, transport management...etc...etc...) that come in everytime we make scope purchase decisions, who dosen't want to own the largest telescope possible ?
So if you are able to handle the size and weight, and if $ is not a problem, go for the 10" 8)

will be expensive. They go by volumetric weight, meaning they take the size of your box. So even if the item inside is light, but your box is big, it will be expensive. Obviously the box for this scope is big.
how much is shipping using vpost for the orion XT 10
Based on solely the weight ~ 25-30kg, VPost will quote about S$200. But that's just a very rough estimate. If you can find out the exact dimensions of the packaging from Orion, the VPost guys will be able to give you a more accurate quote. It's definately going to be S$250-S$300 or more, knowing how gigantic the boxes are going to be...and it's likely to be shipped in 2 or more boxes.
