Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.

welcome welcome!
astronomy is a very rewarding hobby as long as you have the patience to wait for clear skies! If you can see the other threads, our resident HCO (Hard Core Observer) Weixing conducts sessions in Tampines every Sat as long as the weather holds. Do join him there. If you want nearer to your place, can also link up with Sam Lee or join the SP astronomers in Singapore Poly. They typically meet every Friday night as long as the sky is good..

Hi, welcome! I'm also 16, also just finished my O's :) Astro is a really fun hobby. You don't need a scope(yet) to enjoy astro, as you can always join in observation sessions by the 'experts', as well as using your bino and naked eyes. Try to read up books on astro, hope you enjoy the hobby!

naked eye orbservations in singapore usually allows me only 30mins of enjoyment at most, you'll need at least a bino to help you enjoy it better in Singapore. All those light pollution is gonna kill of interest.

CCK cemetry is of course a good orbservation site, no one will disturb you, hardly any lights except for some street lamps. There is just 1 tiny downside, do you dare to observe alone?

Telescope purchasing.... Just pop down to astroscientific and take a look around, there is a good display of telescopes there, if not read the threads on buy/sell telescope forum.
