Hi,
Saw this website long time ago... they seem never have any product detail on their SCT/MCT/RC products.... :k-?:

Anyway, do you notice that they do sold a 16" refractor... :k-shock: But the detail link will point to the 8.8" refractor... :k-?: :k-?:

Have a nice day.

Hi,
If you are interested in China scope other than Sky-Watcher, Celestron (some), Konus and etc, you can try their own china branded scope: TianLang - http://www.tianlang.com.cn/

But not quite sure the quality... since I never seen through one. May be can ask denebman about it.

Have a nice day.

Tianlang have just made a prototype 90 mm Fluorite apo. I think the quality should be fine.

Hi,
Anyway, Sky-Watcher will be launching the 100mm ED refractor spring next year... basically the same 100mm ED refractor by Orion... Hmm... I prefer blue colour than the Orion black... hee hee...

Have a nice day.

More information from:
http://www.astron.sh.cn/cgi-bin/topic.c ... 70&show=75
I think that the Burgess/TMB 92 mm fluorite apo has better mechanics (from William Optics). The price is probably US$899 according to the discussion in http://www.astronomy-chat.net/astronomy ... 67485.html Stay tuned!!!

Well, two of my colleague amateur astronomers have seen through one Tian lang brand Fluorite APO(doublet), here I brief:
"天狼萤石色差控制不错,我们一致认为和tv76在一个水平上,我个人感觉天狼应该略微好一点(tv76是126倍左右,天狼是184倍,tv这个倍率上色差较天狼小一点,但若到180倍,按经验推断的)。700mm焦长之下,用po巴罗组合接近口径2倍,像散了。老姜说是镜头精度不够。镜头成像偏色厉害。"---The colour correction is good, we all agree it is at same level as Televue 76, my feeling is that Tianlang is better (TV 76 at 126X, TianLang at 184X, the color of TV 76 at 126X is less than Tianlang at 184, however at same mag. 180, Tianlang gives less color according to my experience). The focal length (of Tianlang)is 700 mm, at mag. of 2D (180X, using panoptic ep and barlow), the image becomes loose. It is said by Dr. Jiang (Jiang Xiaojun) that the lens is not figured well. The lens has colour bias too.

two tests on Tian Lang(sirius) Fluorite doublet optics
1. http://www.astron.sh.cn/cgi-bin/topic.c ... topic=4508
2. http://www.astron.sh.cn/cgi-bin/topic.c ... topic=4571

Being unable to read Chinese doesn't matter since the two are full of graphics.
