Good debash,
This is an excellent piece of optics! Clear sharp images with good contrast all the way to the edge of FOV..one you will definitely keep...
Have you tried Alan Photo in SLS square ?

Thanks Rich...checked all of Sim Lim including Alan Photo (saw your previous posts on this) ...some have 12x50 (S$ 300 - pre-bargain price) but not 10x50...12x50 feels quite heavy for hand held use.

Debash, even a 10x50 will be a bit heavy for handheld use. A 7x50 "might" serve you better, it will give you more fov as well. How about a Fujinon? ;-)

Thanks Arief...can't afford Fujinon :( , otherwise that would be the first choice for all.

Bought the 12x50 version of Minolta Activa today. Looked thru for about 10 minutes mainly to make the diopter adjustment...excellent optics, every bit as Rich mentioned..but realised that binos are not for me, cuases me dizziness..am better off with my scope only...decided to sell.

Hi Debash, that's probably because at x12, you need a tripod. To hold by hand, the limit recommended should be x10 or x7 preferred...
