Hi,
I happened to be surfing for astro stuff when I came across this sebsite. They have a new range of scopes (most likely from China) and they are also a dealer for Orion i.e. most likely you can buy Orion stuff from them.

Check out the Eclipse range. They have 4, 6 and 8" MCTs and 4, 5 and 6" refractors.
They do not have the pricing nor have there been any reviews to my knowledge. The 4" F6 refractor looks suspiciously like the ones Orion and Burgess (www.burgessoptical.com) is selling. The finderscope looks like the Meade ones.
They also have the Konus range of scopes. Their 90 and 130mm MCTs look like the new ones from Celestron. I did come across a review on the Konus 130mm MCT, which was not very flattering.
If anyone is getting them, do put up a review for the rest of us.

The 8" Mak look nice, but look at the specification:
The guy must be sleeping... ha ha ha... :k-lol: :k-lol:
Anyway, no weight... wonder how heavy a 8" Mak is??
Have a nice day.

I wonder if these are actually skywatcher scopes. Go to www.skywatcher.ca , it will redirect you to the eclipse website. Maybe Sam has some insight on this?

I emailed them previously about the Nexstar series and they're not cheap.
The scope price is the same as the other guys but the shipping cost is higher than Optcorp.
I'm not sure if that has changed since I emailed them last year.
The Eclipse Mak8 looks deceptively small which is odd. I know as aperture increases, the length of the OTA also increases for Maks. Look at the LX200 7". How come this one is so short?
The 6" looks like a good upgrade for me if they only sell the OTA.
Enough increment over my ETX105 to justify the upgrade!!
Do you all think it will sit stable on the Manfrotto 410 head ?
