Finally have a chance to go today and boy was I disappointed!
The outlet store is a small shop at a corner of Orion's warehouse. Given the outlet's desolate location in an industrial park at the outskirts of a small town, I was not surprised there weren't any customers when I arrived. Really puzzled why they bother setting up the store at all :roll:
There were many scopes on display but didn't see Orion's new clear-aperture Newtonian.
The accessories were all locked up in a glass cabinet. The Epic line of eyepieces were on display and gosh they look much bigger in real life. Was tempted to buy one until I recalled that reviews of those eyepieces weren't too positive. Anyway, the prices weren't any better than the catalogue price, so left the place empty handed....
