Dovetail plates

OK... Just need to know... Does anyone have any "lobang" for making customized dovetail plates? Where? Which shop? Who and stuff like that... Price also...

Have been contemplating customising a few items too. But need to find the right place to machine 'em.

Anyone has any lobang to share? *grinz*

I made by ETX adapter plate at this place (recommended by Kay Heem):
(not sure if they are still there). You need to give them the design and they do it for you.

I did not do a dovetail plate...only the interface plate between the ETX and the Manfrotto tripod.
If memory serves, they charged me around $40-$50. Mine cost more because I wanted the autostar and eyepiece holder. If you just do the simple square plate with interface holes, I think about $20 only. They don't provide the screws so you need to get them at a hardware shop.

If you are unsure of the dimensions you want to make, do a general design , bring your stuff there and let them measure it instead. They'll know what to do.
