15/03-Did anyone see the moon?

Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.

Wow, did anyone see the moon last night? It was an orange crescent. Really eerie, looked like a huge comet in the sky.

I only realised too late that it was right beside the Pleiades cluster! Next time if anyone knows of such conjunctions can we announce it?

If somebody had taken a photo it might have looked something like this:

hi Chris,I also saw this the moon but in Cilegon,Indonesia with bino at 16X.
However I did not stay overnight but in Jakarta.
The sky in Cilegon was clear and cloudless.I should much better than than Tuas.

My parents live in Cilegon. I go there once or twice a year, the sky is like Mersing. Maybe I'll build an observatory there when I retire :D

Hi Pak Arief,
Cilegon is like second home in Indonesia.I visit Kakratau Steel monthly. sometime I stay overnight there.
