The Pipe Nebula is part of the Ophiuchus dark cloud complex. Composed by B59, B72, B77 and B78, their combined shape suggests a pipe stem and bowl hence the Pipe Nebula name. It's pipe-shaped dust lane obscures the Milky Way star clouds behind it.

Thanks! It's quite an interesting region, right next to the lagoon trifid area. Also part of the dark horse nebula.
