Not Again - Another Quake 6.9

Post by Lee »

Felt another quake in Pasir Ris for about 30sec.
Saw fish tank water movement.
About 6.9, 500km from Singapore, Nias Region.
Seems like a monthly event since the Dec 26 big one.

strange...till today, I have never felt earthquakes anywhere regardless of where I am in singapore inspite of the reports. in anycase, aftershocks are not abnormal. the whole continental plate justs needs time to stabilise.. once all the kinks are cleared, the earthquakes will subside..until the next time when it gets jammed up again..

Maybe by the time it stabilise, we realised that we are next to Indonesia and not Malaysia....

Hi,

IMHO, You need to be in a quite high location to feel the quake in Singapore.

Anyway, earthquake happen all around the world everyday... most of them were small quake.

By the way, just hope that all those earthquake in Indonesia is not the "warming up signal" of the Indonesia Super Volcano Toba.... or else...
:k-sad: :k-sad: :k-sad:

Have a nice day.

PS: Hope Toba will continue to
