Post by AGMI »

was using the com then i decided to go out for a little look at the sky..suddenly i saw an orange dot moving across the sky but it want blinking so i thought it had to be a satellite..so i tracked it until it disappeared.. then later i checked the heavens-above website and i saw on the globe that the ISS jus passed.. so i checked it in detail and this is what i got: 31 May -0.4 19:35:14 10 NW 19:38:06 62 SW 19:40:59 10 SSE and i confirmed i saw the ISS!!

Photos of ISS and Iridium

Post by chrisyeo »

Hi!

I was informed of the ISS pass and the Iridium flare by calsky through my email, so when I saw that the sky was clear, I decided to try to take some pictures.

You sure are lucky to catch the ISS by chance!

Iridium flare.

Wasn't prepared so only managed to catch half of it as it faded from its maximum magnitude.

Jupiter is brightest spot top left in constellation virgo. The iridium satellite passed right above the star Spica.

nuts. I was looking at the Crux at 20:05 pm looks like I missed it as I was not aware the ISS would be visible. So when will she be visible again?
