Argg!! This is so frustrating! Last night I was there. After setting up my tripod, half-pier, GOTO mount, fixed in the refractor, pulgged in the battery, then I realized I forgot my Starbook! :bangwall:

So I can only do it the manual way, physically moving the GEM without any fine controls! Did bring back memories of my early days when I used my first Tasco 1.5" scope on a photo tripod!

Despite the limitations, managed to explain to a cyclist passer-by about his astigmatism. The night has not been wasted! :D

Battery failing? Let's see...that happened to me once on my C8i. In the end I just do some lunar imaging. :)
