Singastro Lelong Sale 24 Jun 2005

How about attending Singastro's first ever Astronomy Lelong Sale?? Its a good chance to pick up some astromony equipment and books at bargain prices, and meet up with forum members. Do bring along your scopes as well for an impromptu star-gazing session if the weather is good.

Date: Fri, 24 Jun
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Venue: location at Beng Wan Park in Beng Wan Road, the even side of the houses.

From Boon Keng MRT walk towards Serangoon Road following the main road. It is a one way road. Walk for about 10 mins. Beng Wan is opp St Michael's Estate and opposite Elim Church. You will see a small lane. Turn right into it and turn right again. Its a very short stretch of road so juz watch out for a group of rowdy pple. :)

Pls refer to www.streetdirectory.com.sg for a map. I am not familiar with the area and cannot help with directions on that day.

- Vixen 80mm F/5 achromat OTA (1.25" focuser) $260
- Orion 90mm SCT with soft case (hardly used) $350
- Aluminium accessory case (smaller than chee chien's) $60
- assorted new generic Plossl eyepieces (from $40)
- Crayford Focuser with removeable newt base $100
- 1.25" laser collimator (generic, new) $60 X 2 pc

chee yiun going to set up C4R OTR for sale, accessories include

-celestron diagonal, tube ring, dew shield, lens cover, 2" to 1.25" convertor.

-celestron erect prism,
-25mm celestron elux eyepiece.
-1.25" filters ( 2 nos, green and grey)
-1RPD 2" eyepiece.
-Nihon large Zoom Bino ( 10-30 x 60mm)


All can be sold seperately.

May bring in c8 for testing burgess binoviewer too :) , will catch Saturn if it is not low on the west horizon.
