See the space shuttle Discovery!

Post by gchew »

Hi folks,

The just launched space shuttle "Discovery" has a visible pass over Singapore skies tonight (27 Jul) at about 8:06pm or so. Check out http://www.heavens-above.com for pass predictions for your location! There are visible passes tomorrow and the day after, but tonight's pass is the brightest at -1.9 magnitude. Besides high clouds all over the sky right now (6:40pm), it seems clear enough to catch the pass.... let's hope it stays that way!

Just saw it. A very nice pass indeed! Rivals the best I've seen!

Tried to see the pass last night but it was too low (near the horizon). Jupiter and Venus were very beautiful though.
