Old Singastro Marina South Observation Site gone forever

Post by Airconvent »

Did all of you remember when Singastro obs session means all the SP people
and many singastro members going to marina south. my, that was what we call an obs session instead of the small groups we have today...
but I just went there the other day for NDP Carnival survey and looks like the site is now bright as day with lights, pavilion and all....sigh...
hope the second singastro historical site at Dempsey can survive much longer..
btw, if you do find new places, you're welcome to update them under the observation sites thread. I know richard (II) low, weixing, david all have their new haunts....

yup...and remember, some of these pics were taken at great risk to the photographer (me!). Imagine its dark and suddenly a flash and all that dark adaptation is gone. while the "victim" is in a daze, the photogapher casually whistles, keeps the camera and disappear into the crowd (yes..obs session actually have a crowd in those days!).
