Venus Jupiter conjunction next week

Post by chrisyeo »

Headsup! Make sure to look out for this spectacular conjunction next week.

Venus and Jupiter are closing in together and will be closest 1st and 2nd September.

The best way to remember a conjunction is to take a picture. People with cameras, find a good foreground and take some spectacular shots. Make sure to share them with us here!

Also look out on the 7th of September, where the crescent moon and Spica will join the foray. Another good photo op.

Clear Skies!

Kay Heem, the western sky near my place is blocked by bulidings and bright lights from Clementi, south side blocked by condo. The only clear skies are in north east to north west.

Chris, thanks. I live in the Pandan Valley Condo near Holland Road.

Cheers,

Siah Heng

Hmm... apparently that's not so from my place... sky looks good. Took a few shots, but the street lights around my place sort of ruin the pictures. Will look through later...
