Hi -
I'm looking for the best low cost (around US$80 shipped used) alternative for deep sky in 24 to 25mm range in 1.25" barrel.
I'm considering UO super erfle. Has anyone used UO Super Erfles, especially the 24mm one on a slow scope (f/12 or so), or UO 24mm Konig, both have a fov of 60*. How is the edge performance? Amongst the two, which one is recommended? How does it compare with others such as Meade 24.5mm, Panoptic 24mm? Any other alternative that you would suggest?
I have UO 32 mm 2" Konig which gives nice low power views with a TFOV of about 1*.
Thanks in advance for your views.

Hi,
I have the UO Super Erfle 25mm eyepiece. It work very well in my 6" F5 Newtonian and I think should work very well on a slow scope too. The apparent FoV is around 55 - 60 degree. IMHO, it is one of the best wide angle eyepiece at that price range.
You can try it on your scope during our next time observation session.
Have a nice day.
PS: If you are going to get a new one, inform me. I'm thinking of getting the UO Super Erfle 16mm version.
