Hi folks:

Sky cleared a little while after 9pm ... beating moon rise I tried full frame rate stack on the all too familar bright patches in our Milky way..

Great pictures, where did you do the imaging and is your camera guided during the exposure?

Hi kampang:

The same video set up with the meteor stuff - stacked images from the video avi files. Recording time is most half a minute - stacked using Registrax and no dark frame subtraction. The whole processing etc take less than 5 minutes

Hi:

Couldnt resist... the brightest part of the milkyway retake on 31 Aug around 10:30pm... This time using avi capture of a minute duration. [... anything longer Registrax will bomb out stacking > 1500 frames ..]

The dead pixels started to show through..

Hello yK,
I did not take part in a specific watch, but I was observing that night for a few hours, also with some visitors. It was exceptionally clear and we saw quite a few Persieds, some of which we very bright.
