- Space Documentary starring Sam Neill
I think this documentary is the best i have seen...With all those effects, one will surely understand a lot more about our universe after watching it...Highly Recommended!

ehh...if we're going to talk about documentaries as well, how can we leave out the late Carl Sagan's COSMOS?
It's a very informative, albeit a little slow in parts , show from the astro-man himself. Incidently, he's the author of Contact. He wrote that novel in order to bring forth his ideas about life beyond earth into a package that can be easily understood by the layman.

Hi Charlie,
Did he have a documentary out? So far there is the book and a multimedia programme by Creative Technologies but I don't remember seeing a movie..

i believe he has a series of documentaries already out for a pretty long time, hmm..a boxed version can be bought somewhere out there
mmm...seems the series did not get very good reviews as compared with COSMOS. From the complaints, it would seem the producer and director needs to do more to convert a difficult subject into something refreshing.
While we cannot change the manner in which Prof Stephen Hawkings deliver his lines, I think the backup animation and images can help in visualisation of his concepts...
For info, I have his book but like the majority of people who bought his book, I did not finish it....sigh...
