Hi,
If you look around in the internet, I think you can get a new one around that price.

Have a nice day.

Dun think so... most of them selling for US$3000. This is only US$2000. Unless, of course, someone bids higher. :P

Hi,
That mean you didn't look hard enough... =P

Take a look at: http://www.grandeye.com.hk/pricelist02.htm
Their list price for a Mewlon 210 OTA is China RMB $17,480 without GST, so will be around S$3,700 without GST. Too bad, they don't "sell to oversea".

Have a nice day.

A few weeks back someone was selling M210 for US$1800. Overnight shipping from either Germany or US will probably around U$150-$200.

Fly to HK by budget airline!! Probably cheaper than shipping the scope, and save on GST at the same time!! :)

Buy from StarBase in Japan. It costs about 220,000 Yen. They ship overseas.

Yeah.. here: http://www.astromart.com/classifieds/de ... _id=368848

But it sounds less pristine (1 missing finder screw... dusty optics...) than Markus'. All the same, 2nd hand Mewlons certainly is much cheaper than new!

Cheers!

I'll be travelling to HK quite often, maybe you can "tumpang" me to save shipping and GST. Only one condition, though, I can use the scope for one month first :-)
