Farewell to Singastro

Post by tanguan2001 »

Hi all,

Just letting you know that I'll be leaving Singapore for the clear skies of Perth in the next couple of weeks. Taking up a job there. Hope to continue imaging there once we settle down.

I've enjoyed the discussions here as well as the help that many of you have given me - Kay Heem for the dew shade, Matthew for the idea for a guiding relay, etc.

All the best to you guys and hope the sky clears soon!

Hi,
Don't need to farewell la. You are still welcome to the forum even you move to North Pole as long as you got internet access... ha ha ha

Anyway, please remember to visit the forums after you settle down and of course continue to post your outstanding images.

Have a nice day.

Hi TG,
i already know before hand but sad to see you go...especially since you are taking "precious" with you.
hope you managed to get some good imaging out of her.

you don't need to say good bye though as I'm sure there should be internet access. but looks like I will have to find some time to drop by your place and pass you the CD and instruction sheet. will try to arrange with you next week.

cheers and all the best

Thanks everyone. Tried to image tonight with the Artemis camera, but as usual the clouds hung around. Probably the last chance before we start to pack things up for the move. But the camera works, and looks very promising.

Hi TG,

Perth! I am sure they have better skies than Singapore. All the best to you and don't forget to show us the astro pics you take down under!
