Red thing in the sky?

hi guys!

i was looking at the moon yesterday evening.. aronud 10 i guess... and i saw this red dot in the sky... as bright as venus.. and as big as venus.. but moving down the horizon really fast.. (compared to motion of stars)... does anybody know what that is? cz its not showing up in starry night as anything.. lolz

i forgot to mention.. it was about 40degrees below the moon.. towards the west....

its probably a flare by the army guys.
