Anyone can identify this feature?

Post by chrisyeo »

Is anyone able to identify what this is?

It is a picture taken on earth, and I got the picture from APOD.

Looks like some kind of lava dome or volcano like those on the moon. Do you know where it's located?

Try to guess before scrolling down.

It is not a joke right? It's the famous Berringer Crater in Arizona...the image was flipped upside down!

Hey, don't bluff me everyone. This can't be a crater. It must be the famous Area 51 we all wanted to find! The road to that dome is further proof :D
