I have seen a lot of island photos and been to a few islands myself....

One common thing about them is that they usually have clear blue skies.

But I have no idea why the island called Singapore doesn't have those clear blue skies often.

the island is in the middle of the ocean...and they exert very little influence on their environment.

for singapore, its different. all that heat from the concrete and aircons move up at night to be cooled and they form clouds. that is why tampines is generally clearer as they are nearer the sea. going inland and its clouds clouds clouds. the main relief comes after a long rain when whether is cool and most of the moisture has precipitated.

i'm back!

Post by Ekezial »

I'm back after 35 long days! and i have another runway under my belt. The people on the island waited 30 years for an airport to be built for them, but i think it will bring alot of changes to their quiet and easy lifestyle.....:(

Weather was quite bad on the island, lots of wind, rain and clouds.there was a total of 3 days where the night sky was somewhat clear.
