Webcam Astrophotography

hi i would like to know if any1 try using other brand webcam to do astrophotography. like logitec. i heard that u need to modify d webcam. coz i plough through d whole funan n sim lim but simply can't find any shop that sell toucam pro.

Philips ToUCam Pro II is now selling in Taiwan in very cheap price (<S$50/ea) in Nov 2005. I think the vendor will sell it in Singapore soon. This webcam is superior on the low noise.

Philips come out with a new ToUcamIII. ToUcam Pro II discontinued.

I would also like to get one.. My older set is spoiled, I cant see the video signals on my laptop from the toucam pro.. probably the ccd is gone..

that link is in chinese (which I cant read).. If you guys wanna do a mass order, I am game..
