First time doing a mosaic... seems to be quite blur, any ideas why?
Mosaic made up of 7 prime focus shots taken through my school's 10" LX200. 1/125 secs, ISO 400. Shots aligned in Photoshop, converted to grayscale, colour balanced and some minor editting to remove the lines between the photos.
How to improve? :?

nice attempt on unsharp masking. can see an improvement on the extent of ray coverage and a pronounced contrast on the maria regions. However, do ease on curves if you have did the adjustment, as some of the highlights have been clipped to 255 values already. you can see the effect of this change from the brightest features. Hope u do not mind if I have tried a little processing on the original image. What I have done was to apply a gentle curve appliation in PS to the moon, to highlight the darker regions and prevent the wash-out effect. It seemed that your exposure is correct, cause when this is the case, the curves adjustment is quite easy, but do be careful, as it is also easy to overdo it. Afterthat apply unsharp masking just a little...about 40% at 1 pixel radius since image is small.
