Tak Teegul sky patrol mount

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Tak Teegul sky patrol mount

Post by neoterryjoe »

Hi all,
Have anybody used/tried a sky patrol mount? Can comment? Looks ultra-portable and cute...

It seems difficult to do polar alignment with the SkyPatrol. Kenko Skymemo has got reputation for the compact mount for unguided wide-field photography. Skymemo uses the good polarscope similar to that of Losmandy.

Is it still acceptable for visual purpose only?

The absence of the DEC motor and high speed slewing makes it less useful for visual purpose.
