Nice crescent of the Moon!
By coincidence, I photographed this crescent of Venus this morning at around 10 mins before sunrise. Venus' phase was only about 11%. The atmosphere (on Earth) was boiling.
Thru an 8" LX-90 SCT, and Philips Toucam Pro II. Stack of about 100 frames in Registax.
The orientation of Venus is as seen in an upright image. The illumination is in the direction of the rising Sun below the horizon, with Venus in the East as a morning star. Looks just like the Moon!
