1st Try of Jupiter!

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

1st Try of Jupiter!

Post by boothee »

Dear All,

Attached is my very first try of Imaging on Jupiter. Photo Captured after Star Party 26-Feb-06 0517 hrs Yangon Time.

30 frames stacked in Registax, resized 200% & balance a bit in CS2.

Please have a look and drop some lines for future improvement.

Looking forward to your comments . . . .

Cheers!

Nice image! :)

I'm sorry, I was just wondering if you could use different topic titles for your pictures. :)
I was trying to find one of your moon pictures to show my colleague the other day and found a few "Astroimaging!" threads ... :) Maybe you could use "Jupiter!" or "Moon!" .... :)

Just a thought. :)

Hi,
Not bad, but I think can be improve if you use more frames and may be use a 2x barlow to increase the focal length (so that will get a bigger jupiter) if you can manually track the jupiter... :P

Have a nice day.

PS: As what jeremy mentioned, please try to use more descriptive or more specific and related topics title to allow others to search more easily. Thanks.
