any place to recommand in m'sia?

Hi,
i would like to ask where in malaysia would you recommand to go for my astro club, as we are having a trip to malaysia and cant decide where to go.. the trip is in september, will it be during the monsoon season?

tioman might be good since it's an island off mersing anyway. I haven't been there in a few years so I don't know how the lights are at night, but since it's all resorts there, I suspect finding a dark site would not be a problem. And the skies would be "mersing-like" ...??
