I've seen a couple of guys (caucasians) on different occasions buying S&T at Borders but didn't get a chance to say Hi cos they rushed off. Might be one of them. One drives a Jaguar and one drives a VW. :)

US$1000 for SS2K alone is a bit over the top. I bought my GPDX+SS2K combo for that price last year.

SS2K was never sold at that kind of price in Astromart anyway. I remember it cost around US$900 new, so how did he get $1000 for a used one is beyond me

Maybe because it's no longer available.
New one is US$1190 (base on http://www.buytelescopes.com/product.as ... id=5018&m= ). Also, may be it the PC version which US don't sell it.
