Most Singastro ppl buying from Astromart face a problem 'cos many sellers are not keen to sell to someone in Singapore without good ratings.

If the seller has 2 offers, 1 from USA and 1 from Singapore, who do you think they will choose?

The big plus point of buying from fellow Singastro members is that you can see and check it out before committing.

"And for tax, come on....there are ways to escape that. These are used items from Astromart, they will declare it under SGD$400 to escape taxes."

And clittle, I would be surprised if the majority of astromart sellers are willing to under-declare the value of goods they are shipping in order to help you evade taxes. Well maybe you have a way with them; I look forward to you helping out Singastro members with astromart purchases at bargain prices and make a few bucks for yourself at the same time. :)

Come on...there are many people who know how to do this. And it doesn't even involve the astromart sellers.

If you use Vpost, you think they care if you are from US or Singapore? They just look at your shipping address.

If you have a good offer to share with fellow members or is willing to help them purchase any astro items at a good price, do make an announcement in the buy-sell corner, stating item and description, price, warranty, etc.
Singastro can do with any offers available especially for the newbies. Your help would be a boon for them as well as other members here as astromart prices are usually much lower.
Thanks
Ok..as I said....whoever who wants scopes or accessories, PM me. I keep a lookout for you in Astromart and if there is a sale, I will get it for you.

I breathe and eat Astromart and I know every single prices at the back of my mind.

clittle, may we know your real name? i just did a "search by country" in astromart and select "singapore", can't seem to find your name.

among us, i think chee-chien has the most number of AM ratings :-)
so if i ever need help from someone to buy things from AM, he'll be the one i will ask first.

Ha ha, I have "retired" from Astromart ever since I returned to Sg. :) But if I can help I will be glad to. As for future astromart purchases I am looking half-heartedly for a WO red dot finder. Hmm, maybe I can take up clittle's offer ha ha :) :) :)

Anyway, I was suppose to lock down this thread earlier but forgot to. Will do that now.

cheers
