Wah I really look forward to the montage of old footages. Would be really nice. Some of us have been murking around in this hobby for many years, and it sure will bring back good memories

As for ATMs, don't worry. There is a whole bank of them at the adjacent Compass Point shopping centre heheh.

The event starts at 7pm, so see you guys there! Would appreciate a few early birds (630pm) to help with setup.

Should be coming. I can come early to help with the setup as well 8-) .
BTW. CC, do you still need volunteer for drinks? Otherwise I may just bring some light snack

will be there early. will be helping Mike to carry some stock items down for the event. BTW, if any of you have any early self portrait of yourselves with your scopes, do send it to me at remuscj@gmail.com so that i will include into the montage slide show. Or any of the past events will do as well. Let's keep the ball rolling...ha!

Hi all,
Thanks for those who contributed images for the SINGASTRO Slide-Show montage events....but will still need more. Anymore from the last Mars Watch for example? I was out country then, don have any from that event. And more....Will do the compilation possibly late tonight or tomorrow morning, for the SINGASTRO Lelong Sale.

hi all,
latest updates on slide show montage: thanks to those who have contributed! so far, we will featuring events dating back to 2001 and including the SINGASTRO EQUIP FEST 2002 that was held in the same location as the Lelong Sale later, expeditions, local events scattered around Singapore, instutition events, etc. It will showcase the astronomy scene in Singapore, plus Malaysia as well, together with a segment showcasing our neighbouring countries hosted events that some of us went to attend as well. All in all, thanks to all who have contributed. It is clearly a nice memory for everyone, and hope that all will come later to see it and mingle with the nice astronomical community here in Singapore!
