Need to buy: RA motor for Great Polaris DX mount

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hi,
You just need the Motor or also the SD-1 Single Axis (RA) Motor Drive Controller?? You can also check with McGill... from my last year price list, the price should be around S$190 for Vixen MT-1WT Motor and S$200 Vixen SD-1 Single Axis (RA) Motor Drive Controller.

Hope the price didn't change much.

Have a nice day.

Kenneth,

About time!

I believe you all have the motors, and only need the controller.

Cheers,

Geez, i thought what motor you were telling me just now. We have the motor, in fact, i remember we have 2 in the cupboard. I tried fixing them on before, but it's the mount that can't take the motor, not the other way round, so i don't think buying another motor helps.

Maybe someone here can help fixing the mount? the gears that the motor needs to run are spoilt, and i don't know how to fix'em back..
