Hi Wu Chee Yiun

I have seen to check if I could get a Skysensor 2000. But unfortunately these are sold out and Vixen do not manufacture them anymore. So the investment in this guiding system will be an investment in an old system. So if you wish to stay modern and have the options for GOTO and astrophotography I would recomand you the FS2 Drive Unit. This system is able to be connect to each mount with each motors and it have features, where the astronomers don´t have to miss something.

The price for the drive unit is not higher than for the Skysensor 2000. If you have motors you need only to see if they are steppers and after this I need to know what kind steppers they are.
If you need the motors and the Drive Unit we shall calculate the price, but this we can make im PM or e-mails.

You may wait for a while until Vixen releases the next generation of SS2k. I think Vixen will release it soon becuase they cannot afford freezing the production of New Atlux for a long time.

Hmm... will the next generation of SS2K support GP/GPDX mount?? The SS2K + GP/GPDX is a direct competition with their own Sphinx mount.

Have a nice day.
