Richard, CC, Rowland and myself had a short observation session last night in Dempsey rd comparing two great scopes, Canopus's 12.5 obsession and CC's 12.5 portaball

Arrhh.. I missed a chance to see the giant guns. Dempsey is rather near my home in Redhill too. Waiting eagerly to see more photos.

I know people here will strangle me if they hear this but I was asked to join them last night with 2 x super 12.5" and on a rare clear night in Singapore but I had to decline as I had just spent the evening at the night safari...tired...
I know I missed a historic event...sigh.... :(

RIch, same here ... I missed a call from Richard Low last night .. but so busy I haven';t had a chance to call him back yet ... hee ..
But I'm sure there're gonna be lots of other chances ... :) Mersing maybe? ;)
