We do it in the dark...
Portaball 12.5"
Takahashi Mewlon 210
William Optics 110ED
...and all night long!
Hi guys
Note the change in timing for the event: 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Yang Beng, I am keeping it short so that there is a good match of pple and scopes; I am sure some of us will linger beyond 9.30 if the weather is good.
Judging from past events where we saw 30-50 people, can those who are bringing scopes to the event please post here with the equipment that you are bringing? I would like to ensure that there are sufficient scopes for everyone. Also, the JuM-party can become an equipment fest instead if the weather doesn't co-operate
cheers

Tiong Bahru Park! Alright! It's about 5 minutes' walk away from my home!
There is a nice dark spot there, next to Gan Eng Seng Secondary School. It is a school field, but open to public after school hours. I'll definitely come!
Likely to bring my Vixen 80mm refractor on porta mount... easy for me to walk from home with it to the park. My other scope (150mm classical cassegrain) is rather heavy (8.3kg OTA only) and not suitable for porta mount (rated to take max 5kg).

Hi, if there's no problem with my ns (ie i can book out properly, no OT), i'll be there, definitely ^^ However, whether i will take my scope there is still unsure, since i just saw the 12.5" cannonball yesterday which just totally put me off my own scope view of jupiter..
