I've finally got a couple of telescopes in Singapore but one is too big for my dry cabinet and I **really** dont want it to go moldy - its a pricey 4" apo refractor.
My office has 24x7 aircon (I have an office next to a machine room). If I keep it with some fungicide and dessicant in my office would that be good enough protection for it? Does anyone have any experience keeping scopes just in air con rooms rather than dry cabinets and does it work?
Thanks a lot for any feedback.

As long as the humidity in the aircon room is below 60% (which likely will be the case), your scope will be fine. Just be aware that condensation will occur on your scope when you bring it out of the room, so do allow your scope to air thoroughly after that.
