nope..just the usual cakes and stuff and gift exchange at the office. hope someone would buy a Televue 4mm Radian eyepiece for the exchange!
as to snake meat...never tasted it before and can't seem to find any place in singapore that serve it...how does it tasted when you ate it for your jungle training?

anyhow...lets all pray pray pray for clear sky tomorrow night as its holiday eve!!! if my etx motors don't power up soon , the gears will seize up sooner or later.!!

Hi,
Anyone observe in Christmas eve??? It was a super clear night, the seeing was great, no cloud can be seen (I think all the cloud also went to the party..Ha Ha :D ) and the view was just fantastic !!! I observed from 9:00pm to 3:45am. Athough, I was busying calibrating and testing(or playing) with my new Celestron Micro Guide Eyepiece, I manage to take some experimental images of the Saturn and Juipter. Hope the result is good!!!

Anyway, A very happy Christmas eve!!!

Yes, the sky was very clear over at Toa Payoh Central on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I actually managed to set up my MN56 such that I could observe Saturn through the open living room window, so I had my eye on the ringed planet for about 4 hours straight on each of the 2 nights (had to use my other eye to observe after a while, to avoid over straining my master eye ! )

hi sam...my house's windows align N-S instead of E-W, so I never see the cool stuff like Saturn from there. anyway, seems you are enjoying yourself with your new MN56...I have not had the chance to see it yet,...hopefully the sky will be clear this weekend...
