During the JUM meeting, one guy asked me what was the differences between the scopes there. I could not explain due to the lack of time and there were also many kinds of telescopes like refractors, SCT, Mewlon, newtonian on GEM and Dobs (truss and non-truss).

Anyway, for the people who don't know what is a Dob (Dobsonian), I have attached a link to it. In starparties, Dobs tend to be the largest scopes around due to their compactness and ease of use. It is primary for visual use.

Those who want first-hand experience in viewing through a top-of-the-range Dobsonian, look out for the Ducky with the Obby! :)

Ya actually i like the obby very much; very classic and stylish. :)

Yes, I like 'furniture'. It's like owning a piece of history! (Read the book, get the scope!)

I like both the currypot and the furniture! No problem, I would have taken either one!

to me, doesn't matter which one.

But the currypot is not really a dob.

Anyway, this is OT but the Portaball as delivered had so many quality control issues (that are inexcuseable considering the price of the scope :( ) I would take the Obby and pocket the extra cash heh heh :)
