New XF Pentax?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hi,
This is the Pentax eyepieces for their spotting scope... not sure how good it is. But since it didn't put under "Astronomical" section, I think it may not be as good as their astronomical version.

Have a nice day.

I have the XF Zoom. My advise is keep to the XWs.

I will be getting XW20 and XW40. The XF is not on my wish list.

Actually, I've enjoyed using my Vitacon SwingView 70mm spotting scope as a low-power telescope (it has a 20-60x zoom ep, with T-adapter for camera attachment). Not ED, not APO, not flat-field... but it offers me decent views comparable to the Vixen A80SS acromat. And it is extremely portable for a "go-anywhere, see-anytime" scope with the additional advantage of correct image orientation.

No hi-fi? Mini-combo also can lah! Just swing to the beats! (I'm more of an "Alfred") :P

Haha, I believe here is a good place for both happy Steves and Alfreds. :D

There is a very good comparison between Pentax XF and Televue radian.
