I'm the logistic officer of NTU Astro Club. Now we are thinking about the main-commitee memebers going for a research trip to Mersing during the coming recess. Since none of us have been there, we need your help.
I've read in previous threads that in this July 29th's session, maybe ten of you went there by a booked minivan. I think we can go there this way. So could any of you tell us the procedure for booking a minivan, how much is the cost for a one-night trip, exactly where in Mersing (your observing site) we shoud tell the driver to go, what we need to bring to pass the custom, what we need to pay attention to during the night, etc. Or, if you have any better way of going there, please tell us.
The first two days of our recess fall on the weekend, 23th and 24th September, and there will be no moonlight interfering. So, weather permitting, I hope some of you can join us for the trip and bring your scopes to show us in the starry Mersing sky (there is a saying among you that first-timers willl certainly bring clear skies to Mersing, I hope this time it is also true). We will be bringing my ETX-125 and our club's Celestron C6 Newtonian. Hoping there to be some of you experts aroud!

Many thanks to your help!!!
