Yeah he jumped onto it and it's tail went through his heart....I mean... WHY?!!! WHY MUST HE DIE!! THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!! WHY INDEED MUST THE GOOD DIE YOUNG!!!! my entire family is mourning in this devastating loss

Unfortunate is the word. Irwin had come out over the top of a stingray that was buried in the sand and the barb went up and hit him in the chest. He pulled it out, and the next minute he's gone...just like that.

In Germany he had a lot of tv-appearance and he was a professional wild-life filmer. He loved any animal and showed allways respect.
It is tragic he´s gone.
