You may want to check with Remus privately as to how he organised the past trips. Usually they book a chalet which is a short distance from the obs site.
cheers

We have ever taken a 5" SCT, 7" Newt, 8" Portaball, 10" teleport etc with 9 people on the minivan before, so a 10" truss-type should be ok. Ian's 10" solid tube would be difficult, unless you don't mind it being on your lap....

Is it really necessary to book the chalet? Is it simply a place for shelter and sleep? Did you book such a chalet in your past trips?
Clear skies please...

Usually if you stay 2 nights or more, then it is worthwhile to book a hotel or chalet.

The chalet is for if you stay more than 1 night, so have a place to hibernate in the day. I have not lived there before but I understand the facilities are rudimentary which is why some prefer booking a hotel in Mersing town instead.

That is correct and true!

Ok, since we already have 9 or 10 people on the list, we will proceed to confirm the minivan today!
