Title: Moonrise over rock formation

http://www.singastro.org/album_showpage ... pic_id=549

Category: Naked Eyes
Date taken: 7/8/2006

A brief description of the photo:
On a cycling trip to Pengerang, we passed by this interesting rock formation along the road, with the moon rising behind it and lallang waving in the wind in front. Despite it being near sunset and pressed for time, we had to stop to soak in the scene!

A brief description of equipment used and how you took it:
Nikon Coolpix 4300 (I think it was on auto mode).

Here's my submission ... :)

Light Pollution!!

Image was taken on 18th December 2003 in Genting Highlands using Canon G2 camera and foldable tripod.

Took it cos it really illustrates the increasing light pollution problem.
The air was clear enough to give a stunning view of the city from Genting yet hazy enough to show the path of the spot light(s); the thick clouds helped accent the effect of the strong beams coming from the twin towers.

Enjoy!
