Hi,
Date : Saturday, 23 Sep 2006
Time : 22:00
Venue: The field beside the Mosque.

Moon Info
Set Time: 19:33 :D :D :D
Illum: 1.9% :D :D :D

Had been quite a long long time since my last Tampines Observation Session... :( :(

Since the weather this few days seem to be improving... at least can see some blue sky, so I will try my luck this Saturday night... :)

Main objective is to try out my new setup and learn to collimate a SCT. If weather is good, will try to image M31 again and may be M33 also.

All are welcome to join me if you are free. Will confirm the session again at this Saturday 19:00.

Hope the weather will be good this Saturday night.

Have a nice day.

Yes. It's the "site 1" in the map I draw in the attachment.

Have a nice day.

Weixing,
Hmm.. if weather good maybe I will join you; I still need to test out my DSC...especially no chance to test out due to crappy weather. Could you PM me your handphone number? How is the sky there generally? There is an ok place at a field beside Bedok South Secondary. It is quite near Tanah Merah MRT and I have been to that place once. Thanks.

The area is not consider dark due to the security light from the Mosque, but the sky can be quite good if weather is good and if the Mosque didn't turn on their "dual search light". They didn't turn on last time I was there... will go there tonight to check whether did they turn on the "search light".

Anyway, it's just pure convenient for me... :P :P :P

I know... it recommend by wira and it is very good... I think I mention it in the forum before. But because it all grass field, it'll not be convenient if there is rain in the day... too wet... same problem as the site 2 in my map.

Anyway, I think another site that got some "hope" is the Tampines Mountain Bike Trail... will check out the site again once the expansion completed... just wonder when will that be. :(

Have a nice day.

Have a nice day.

WX, I will join you if wife no. 1 (real-life person) allows me to bring the other wives (scopes) out for overnight party at Tampines.

Yet to decide which concubine to bring... my current favourite being the classical cassegrain, but it is heavy :( ... the lighter 80mm APO will be the next choice.

According to the weather report, there'll be morning showers with thunder on Saturday. So skies should be clear by night time.
...clouds, please go away, let me see the stars today...
