Hi,
Heard that Canon 400D isn't selling as well as expected... may be not much different from Canon 350D in term of performance... may be it the "400" in chinese sound similar to “死吧“ (si ba) which mean "be dead"... then Canon 400D mean "Canon be dead"... ha ha ha

Anyway, I think most people will be waiting for the DIGIC III DSLR.
Have a nice day.

forget the overpriced Impreial Canon..go for Pentax instead!
I've just gotten the latest K100D and turned alvinsclee to the Light side also!
Presently, Pentax offers the BEST value for money. Nice features at a great price.
Most critics (usually canon owners!) would say Canon or Nikon has more lens range but that's like Palm users back in the early 2000s saying PocketPC is no good since palm has "lots of software". fact is pentax makes really great lenses and unless you are some sort of professional, you won't need more than 3-4 lenses anyway.

Hi,
Anyway, for normal photography, I think most camera today will give very good result... only when at low light or some special condition, some camera will perform better than others.
By the way, I think the problem with Pentax last time was that it's take a very long time to service a camera... I think the distributor basically send the camera back to Japan for servicing... hope that all these are history now.
Enjoy your new camera and have a nice day.
How much does it cost??I've just gotten the latest K100D and turned alvinsclee to the Light side also! Laughing

Quite true and there are also third party lens available for Pentax. Also, sometime the lesser brand will give you more at a lower price to keep themself in the market... the only problem for a lesser brand is that accessories may be more difficult to find.

I have both Canon and Nikon lenses... and bringing in another set of lenses would be too expensive for me! So I guess I have to stick to Nikon and Canon for the time being. However, I prefer Canon over Nikon even though Nikon was my first camera.
