hi guys, any1 using this ?
issit good ? better that getting a star chart ? or the same ?
thinkin of buying this product ... hmmmm

or should just get a book/chart

Check with Elton...he actually used it on his ipaq connected via blue tooth to his teleport for manual goto...a sort of graphic Digital Setting Circle!

Software would be better as it is not limited to the magnitudes like book/ chart and you can access a wealth of info on the object unlike in charts which just show the object position but really lack much info on the object like magnitude, angular size, transit times etc. However, do remember to put a filter (I printed dark rectangles on transparency and use rubberband to tie) on the pda when in use as it is still very bright even at the lowest power setting.
