Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Thanks Anat! :) I'm sure it's gonna be a great sample. :)

Thanks Liuming, yeah, now I understand a little more about TMB lenses and where they come from. :)

Arief, any link to prove the lenses of new signature series are made by Takahashi contractor?

TMB never put this officially in writing, he mentioned only when people ask him directly. This is one of them: http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/ ... er/1049584

I believe I saw the reference to Tak contractor in some of TMB Optical yahoo group postings as well.

Canon opticians make Tak lenses. Looks like they have a new customer from the States.

Hi,
Sky-Watcher also come out with two more APO ( http://www.skywatchertelescope.net/Equinox.html ):
Equinox 66
Diameter: 66mm
Focal Length: 400mm
F/ratio: f/6

Equinox 80
Diameter: 80mm
Focal Length: 500mm
F/ratio: f/6.25

Hmm... doesn't the two new scopes look somewhat familiar??? Look like the "APO fever" will become "APO high fever"...

Have a nice day.
